Including component apps in a library

Library apps

When: component apps in libraries are a good solution when you need a specific user interface on frequently-used library components. For example it can be of great help in your organization to have dedicated user interfaces to configure certain components and hide unneeded complexity.

How: such apps need to be created first as regular component apps in Simcenter Amesim (See Creating component apps), then Exported as a .app file and saved in the utils folder of your Library:

Then you can attach them in the Submodel Editor by incrementing the Embedded tools value, giving the new embedded tool a name and browsing for the .app file as illustrated here:
