What is the Modelica platform?

The Modelica platform refers to a collection of tools that allow you to create, view, modify and compile models written in the Modelica language. Modelica models are compiled to native Simcenter Amesim submodels. At that point, the main Simcenter Amesim platform handles the simulation and post-processing as it would with any native Simcenter Amesim library submodel.

When you wish to create, view or modify Modelica models, you will work directly in a GUI called the Modelica Editor.
