THVECTS1: New vectorial TH temperature source (THM-18090).

THVECCD010: Possibility to choose the connexion mode for the two vectorial components connected to the submodel ("element to element" or "end to end") (THM-20337)

THPHI031: New component for setting a target and applying heat flow rate to both sides (THM-15279).

THMACV1: Capability to discretize the heat exchange (THM-19982).

THMUX0, THMUX1: Updated sketch and library tree icons to make causality explicit (THM-19983).

THMADYNMUX0, THMADYNDEMUX0: Updated sketch icon for easier connexion (THM-13472).

THC0002: Add the possibility to use a "mean temperature" hypothesis for the inner conduction calculation of the vectorial capacity (THM-20336).

Dedicated tools updated

Heat Exchanger Assistant (HEX Assistant): enhancements have been made to extend the Heat Exchanger Assistant's capabilities:

  • The Heat Exchanger Assistant is now available from the App space in category Thermal management (THM-19786).

  • A summary for "Post-processed data" is now available in step Geometry for all heat exchanger types. The summary step has been removed (THM-12045, THM-20275).

  • A second Effectiveness-NTU modeling level is now available. No geometry is needed in this method. Identified expressions define UA as a function of mass flow rate (THM-10292)

  • Fins and Tubes discretized (TPF - THEMA) now available in the HEXA (THM-18308)

  • The microchannels discretized heat exchanger can be defined with multiple cores. The sketch generated from this setting will have multiple cores connected together though their air and fluid path. (THM-18308)

  • The geometry post processed data of the fins and tubes and the brazed plates now provide more information about the global geometry (THM-19951)

  • Clearer association of parameters and variables with hot and cold side of heat exchanger by adding "at side X" to their naming (THM-19697)

Battery Pack Assistant: enhancements have been made to extend the Battery Pack Assistant's capabilities:

  • New "Get from model" button to import parameters of an electrical cell or pack already defined in another Simcenter Amesim model (THM-19599, THM-20418)

  • New "Get from database" button to import parameters of an electrical cell from the Pre-calibrated Tool (ESS library) database (THM-19952)

  • Thermal discretization can now be made along any axis (X, Y or Z) (THM-20075)

  • 2D viewer has been removed (THM-20991)

NTU Regression Tool: deviation calculation has changed for each point to be more explicit (THM-11384)
