Downloading a model

Instead of opening a local file, you can open a file from the Simcenter System Simulation Client for Git repository.

Procedure

1. Use the different fields to locate the model you require. In addition to the default fields you can click the More button to filter the fields to display: Here, you can search on the basis of the following criteria

Collection name

Author

Comment

Creation date

Maturity: select from

none

reviewed

validated

The supplementary filters you can add are:

Head versions only

Classification

Element name

Element type

2. Enter the required information in the fields and click Search.

The corresponding results are displayed in the Results pane where you can sort them to locate the relevant model.

3. Select the model you require and click Download Model.

The selected model will be opened and the corresponding libraries will be added to the path list at the end of the process. Note If no workspace has been defined in the Workspace Path field in the Simcenter Amesim Preferences > Model Management tab, you will be prompted to select a destination directory at this point.

Library dependencies

If a model has user library dependencies, the user library will be download together with the model and the newly downloaded library will be added to the path list.

If other instances of the libraries are already in the path list, they will be replaced by the newly-downloaded libraries.
