The 1D modeling menu

The 1D modeling menu gives access to the sketch generation functionalities that are available in CAD Import.

Activate 1D modeling

The 1D modeling mode allows you to go through the steps necessary to perform the sketch generation. When 1D modeling mode is active, some of the dedicated functionalities become available. More details about these functionalities are provided in the Activate 1D modeling section.

Piping wizard

The Piping Wizard is a tool dedicated to piping cases. It leads you through the steps needed before performing the sketch generation: split, primitive associations, connections. It contains automatic algorithms to speed-up all these steps. See Piping wizard for more information.

Association builder

You can use the Association builder to perform primitive association with multiple selections. It can automatically detect some of the associations, mainly for piping cases. See Association builder for more information.

Domains

This option allows you to define domains for the primitive association. More details about this functionality are provided in the Domains section.

Primitive association

This option allows you to identify a CAD part as a primitive. More details about this functionality are provided in the Primitive association section.

Evaluate out-of-date parameters

This option allows you to update the parameters of the primitives and connections for which the CAD object has changed. More details about this functionality are provided in the Parameter check section.

Force all parameters re-computation

This option allows you to force the computation of all primitive parameters even for the CAD objects that have not been modified. More details about this functionality are provided in the Parameter check section.

Model generation

This option opens a wizard dialog that leads you through steps for generating a model of your system. More details about this functionality are provided in the Model generation section.

Model upgrade

This option opens a wizard dialog that leads you through steps for upgrading a model or a part of a model of your system. More details about this functionality are provided in the Model upgrade section.
