Extracting 2D curves

Adding multiple curves

If your image contains multiple curves you can identify and extract the values of several of those curves in the Graph Digitizer.

Procedure

  1. Begin curve identification for the first curve as described previously.

  2. Once you have completed the first curve, click the button to add a new curve.

A new curve is added to the list, and you can start to add points for this curve. Figure 4: New curve

You can modify the display of each curve added and adjust curve titles to help identification:

  • Double-click the curve title to edit the name.

  • Click the colored square to open the color selector to change a curve's color.

  • Click the icon to toggle display of the selected points off and on.Note For the selected curve, the line remains on the image. The toggle button only controls the visibility of the points. Point visibility is also captured in the reticule.

  • Use the icons to re-order the curve list or to remove a curve from the list.Note This order is important when exporting to M1D as it must correspond with the associated values of the slices (see Exporting tables)
