Note that a special license is required for using the Simcenter Amesim Real-Time Simulation product. After installation, two things need to be configured:

%AME%lib needs to be added to the MATLAB path. In MATLAB select the Set path in the File menu. You will be presented with a popup where you select the Add Folder button. In the directory browser select the directory lib in the Simcenter Amesim installation directory (see the figure below).

Note that the MATLAB path is automatically set if it is started from  Simcenter Amesim  menu.
