Simcenter Amesim Add-in for Excel — Introduction

This manual introduces the Excel Add-In in Simcenter Amesim.

Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, are widely used by engineers for analyzing data from measurements and simulations, and for running technical calculations — thanks to ease of use, low cost, and general availability. Simcenter Amesim has integrated various interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange with the Office platform, including:

• Data exchange via the clipboard.
• The integrated Excel Add-In, which — much like its Office equivalent — offers a powerful tool for automating work steps and exchanging data between Excel and Simcenter Amesim.
