Activate 1D modeling

CAD Import, Activate 1D modeling

The 1D modeling mode allows you to identify CAD parts as CAD Import primitives, to connect them and to create the corresponding Simcenter Amesim model.

It can be activated through 1D modeling > Activate 1D modeling.

When 1D modeling mode is active, the Piping wizard, the Association builder, the Primitive association, the Sketch generation menu/toolbar options and the Connections area become available.

Note

The availability of the Primitive association option depends on the current object selection.
