User interface

The Automation Connect tool consists of a basic menu-bar at the top and a tab-bar, where you can switch between the connector-interfaces and as well as the variable-mapping interface. The single elements will be further explained in the next sections.

For a better overview you can rearrange, close and reopen the tabs according to your preferences. Rearranging can be done by simply dragging the relevant tab header. Closing or reopening is done through a contextual menu which can be opened by right clicking a tab header. Some interfaces also allow multiple instances over this context menu. If there are any closed interfaces on startup Automation Connect will display a small ‘+’ in the top right border to allow you to directly re-open those interfaces.
