Question

How do I use Fortran Submodels in a Simcenter Amesim model?

Answer

Depending on the compiler used, the following procedure must be performed:

GNU G77:

If you have a submodel written in Fortran and compiled with G77, you must configure Simcenter Amesim so that it can use submodels compiled with the G77 compiler.

To do this, simply select the GNU GCC compiler in the Simcenter Amesim preferences.

Note

Intel Visual Fortran is no longer supported as of Simcenter Amesim 2504. Please use GCC's Fortran compiler if you want to compile Fortran submodels.
