The PySide module

If you do not intend to develop advanced apps, and will only work graphically (through the User Interface Definition files), there is no need for you to know Python, or to edit these files as this will be done automatically for you.

However there are situations why you need edit Python files:

• When the user interface definition through the form is not sufficient,

• When you want to write Python code directly without using the form user interface.

By default when you create a new app, some default Python files are created.

It is important to understand their role when editing Python code so as to not break your app.
