Creating relief valve motor slaves
So far you have used one slave formed from one of the sub-systems. We will continue this example and create slave systems for the relief valve and motor.
Step 1: Make a relief valve slave system
The relief valve forms the central section of the master system, connected to the two discrete hydraulic lines. Therefore it requires a two-port master block.
Procedure
- Select the relief valve sub-system, including the two end caps.
Note that on your system HLLWCNXFLOW0 and HLLWCNXEFFORT0 might be the other way round. This is not significant.
Cut the selected sub-system from the master system (Ctrl+X).
Paste the sub-system into a new system (Ctrl+V).
Remember that this new system must include the two discrete hydraulic end-pieces. The sub-system cut from the master was connected through two ports to HLLWPIPE0 submodels. This means that there must be a 2-port slave block in the master and a 2-port master in the slave.

Procedure
Construct this system in the same way as you did the Relief Valve slave, this time using a 1-port master.
Save the system as SimpleMotorSlave.ame.
Step 3: Construct the master system
Procedure
- Now you can construct the master system as follows:

- Again, you associate each slave block with the appropriate slave sub-system:

- Click on Close and load the two new systems.
