Special Files used by Simcenter Amesim

Simcenter Amesim uses many special files. These are stored:

• directly in the root of the Simcenter Amesim directory, or,

• in Simcenter Amesim nodes.

We describe below the most important scripts that are stored in the installation directory. These scripts must be called from a terminal window with the name of a Simcenter Amesim model as argument.

File	Description
AMEload.sh	Open a .ame file into its constituents.
AMEsave.sh	Save the constituent files into their .ame file.
AMEclean.sh	Delete constituent files so that only the .ame file remains.
AMEcompile.sh	Create an executable for the model using its source code.
