You can use Global Parameters freely in master and slave systems. By default they are completely independent. However, for any slave system in the corresponding slave block you can select the option to export the master global parameters to the slave:

This option is often used when there are multiple instances of a slave. You can define a global parameter in the master and export it to all of these slaves. If you do use this facility, remember:

• you export ALL of the master global parameters,

• to use an exported global parameter, the same parameter must be defined in the slave. The master value will be used in the slave system, not the slave value.
