Connector nodes

Once you have placed a connector between two objects, you can click on it to place a node which can be dragged to create a "bend" in the line:

Once a node is placed on a connector, the two sections of line either side of it become independent from each other. If, in the above screenshot, we move the rectangle, only the line from the rectangle to the node is moved with the rectangle:

To remove a node, simply click on it and drag it until the line is straight again. When you release the mouse button, the node disappears.
