Study Analysis
Data relationship plotThe types of plot you can create vary according to the type of study you are running. You can create most plots from the Study Manager dialog box, see The Design Exploration Plots dialog box for more information.
The following section describes how to create plots from your studies through the dedicated plot helpers.

In the following example, we use the plot helper for data relationship analysis to create graphs representing one variable as a function of two parameters. This offers insight into the design space for the selected data.
Procedure
Click the Study analysis: data relationship tile to open the dialog box.
Figure 105: Study analysis: data relationship dialog boxUse the drop-down list in the Study selection group to select the study on which you want to perform the analysis. You can hover your mouse cursor over the icon to display the list of runs in a tool-tip.Note The drop-down list contains all studies except for optimization studies. The list also includes batch studies from embedded experiments.
Select the two study parameters against which you want to plot the variable.

Note The name displayed is the submodel parameter title or the global parameter title.If your study contains more than two parameters, select a value for the other parameters to define one data set. Use the sliders to choose one of the possible values defined in the design matrix.Figure 107: Selecting a fix value
Note This step is not available for a Monte Carlo study because of the nature of the study and how the design points are computed. The parameter values of all design points are different.Select the variable you want to plot. This can be a submodel variable, or a post-processing variable. Drag and drop the variable into the field, or click the Choose button to open the data selection dialog box.Figure 108: Selecting a variable
Note The procedure varies according to the type of study. For a batch study, the selection remains as described above. For a DOE or Monte Carlo study, a drop-down list allows you to select the output/response defined in the study manager.Select the graph type from the list: 2D Surface, 2D Bubble size, 2D Bubble color, 3D Waterfall, 3D surface.
