Optimization

The figure below shows the Studies tab when Optimization is selected as study type.

The definition of the optimization is divided into two parts:

• The first part concerns the technique to use in order to solve the optimization problem as well as the RSM tools.

• The second part is common to all optimization studies and concerns the definition of the optimization problem.

These parts are described below:

• Problem definition

• NLPQL

• Genetic algorithm
