Simulating the Modelica MSD model

In the final step, you can simulate the MSD model and plot some results.

Procedure

1. Click on the green Start Simulation button to run a 10s simulation.

2. After completion, click on the Modelica component and plot the speed and position variables for the mass along with the step force.

Results

After compilation, you still have access to several parameters from the Modelica model within the Simcenter Amesim Parameter view (including initial values for the mass velocity and position). Therefore, you are free to modify parameter values, run new simulations and generate new plots, as per usual.
