Plotting Energies

Modal shapes plotting energies

In the Modal Shapes Analysis dialog box:

Procedure

1. Ensure all observer variables are such that an energy is proportional to the square of their value.

2. Adjust the scale factor values (if necessary) in order to get energies when these scale factors are multiplied by the square of the observer values.

3. Click on the Plot Energies button.

4. Add titles, or adjust and start the animation as for the magnitudes.
