Model history

The Model history function provides you with a simple way of listing the modifications made to a model. You can display and hide the Model history pane through the Edit > Show / Hide menu:

Add new revision

To make a new entry in the Model history pane, click Add new revision. The Add new revision dialog box opens:

Here, you can enter the following information:

• Author

• Date: You can modify this field as necessary. Enter a date manually, or click the arrow to open a calendar.

• Comment: Enter relevant information on the current revision in this field.

All of these fields are optional, you can leave both Author and Comment blank, and either accept the default date (the current date), or change it to whatever date you like.

When finished, click OK to accept the revision, or Cancel to close the dialog box without saving the revision.

When you click OK, the revision appears at the top of the list of revisions.

Note

Once created, revisions cannot be modified.
