Visualization viewpoint
When you navigate in an environment, it is useful to set up several locations in the world, places of interest you want to point to. These locations are called viewpoints. You can browse through them, carrying out a guided tour you prepared for sharing, gaining the visual information you consider important in your model.
By default, when entering a world, your are placed at the global viewpoint of the scene. This is the scene camera in which you can navigate as you want. The scene camera is the default camera for all model visualization tiles (each a subdivision of the model visualization pane), when split. In the absence of custom cameras, the scene camera is the only camera available in the 3D environment.
In 3D Scenes you can visualize a model in a 3D environment, adjusting the view point and detail level as needed. You can modify the model view by:
Selecting a view convention.
Selecting a standard view.
Defining viewpoints as children of static objects, as children of moving objects, or at the top level following a moving object.
Selecting display details level.
