Exporting Simple Output Parameters

Here we focus on Simple Output Parameters. They are displayed in a list giving all the properties that define the simple output parameters, as shown in the figure below.

Adding Simple Output Parameters to the Export setup

Simple Output Parameters Simple Output Parameters adding are parameters that correspond to submodel variables. Adding a simple output to the Export setup means that you will get the final value (value at the end of the simulation) of the corresponding variable.

Even if you are not interested in that final value, you may have to add a variable in the simple output list in order to build the Compound Output Parameter you want (see Compound Output Parameters).

In order to add a Simple Output Parameter, go through the following steps:

Procedure

1. Make sure you are in Simulation mode.

2. If necessary select Interfaces > Export setup… to create the Export Parameter Setup dialog box.

3. Select the variable you are interested in and drag and drop it on the Export Parameter Setup dialog box

Results

A new line appears in the simple output list.

Removing Simple Output Parameters from the Export setup

To remove a parameter from the Simple Output Parameter Simple Output Parameters removing setup, select it in the list and click on the Remove button or press the Del key.

Once you have added Simple Output Parameters to the list, you have to set some properties.

• Export name This is the same as for Input Parameters: see Export name.

• Read-only fields In the list of simple outputs displayed in the Export Parameter Setup dialog box, the fields Submodel, Simcenter Amesim Title and Units are read-only. They concern the origin of the Simple Output Parameter.
