Cursor synchronization

If you have two (or more) rows in one Plot window, the cursor coordinate tools are synchronized between the rows - moving the cursor for one row also moves it for the other(s).

Note

If your plot contains two or more rows containing graphs with different x scales (different values or different units), cursors will not be synchronized.

You can break this synchronization, and then restore it as follows:

  • Break cursor synchronization: You can switch off synchronization by pressing the Shift key on your keyboard and dragging a cursor. This enables you to move it independently of the other cursor(s).

  • Restore cursor synchronization: You can restore cursor synchronization simply by releasing the Shift key and dragging one of the cursors. This automatically synchronizes all cursors.
