You can use connectors to make a connection between objects. To establish a connection, select a connector from the toolbox, click within the boundary of the first object you want to connect, and drag the mouse cursor to within the boundary of the second object:

When you release the mouse button, the connector appears and you can select it to view its properties in the Object inspector:

You can adjust the following properties for a connector:

Thickness Enter a value between 1 and 30 to adjust line thickness Value: 1
Value: 30
Direction Enter 0, 1 or -1 0: No arrowhead 1: Arrowhead at the end of the connector. -1: Arrowhead at the start of the connector.
Color Select from RGBA, the color chooser, or the preset colors.

Once a connector is placed between two objects, its two extremities remain connected to those two objects no matter how you move either of the objects.
