The Mode-contextual toolbar

Depending on the mode, this toolbar gives you access to the following functions:

Sketch mode

Button Function See
Display a component's external variables. External variables
Set submodels for single components, or for multiple components of the same type. Selecting submodels for components
Remove the submodel of the selected component(s). Removing submodels
Display the Port tag list. Port tag list
Create an interface block button. Create interface block
Group the selected components into a supercomponent. Supercomponent Facility manual
Create a Statechart icon on the sketch. Statechart Environment manual
Create a Signal Bus icon on the sketch. The Signal bus feature

Submodel mode

Button Function See
Set the simplest available submodel for the selected component(s). Premier submodel
Set submodels for single components, or for multiple components of the same type. Selecting submodels for components
Remove the submodel of the selected component(s). Removing submodels

Parameter mode

Button Function See
Set global parameters for your components. Global parameters
Set up parameters for a batch run. Study parameters
Copy the parameters of the selected component. Copy and paste parameters
Paste copied parameters to the selected component.

Simulation mode

Button Function See
Run a simulation (open the Run monitor). The Run monitor
Set the parameters of the simulation. Setting Run parameters
Set global parameters for your components. Global parameters
Open the Performance Analyzer. Performance Analyzer manual
Open the Study Manager. Design Exploration manual
Select Temporal analysis mode. Temporal and Linear analysis
Select Linear analysis mode.
