Icon Designer Object View

Icon Designer Object View The Object View (like the Model Explorer in Simcenter Amesim) provides a representation of the icon in tree form, displaying all the ports and objects it contains.

When the Ports tab is selected, the Object View displays the ports inserted on the icon:

When the Icon tab is selected, the Object View displays the objects inserted on the icon:

In both cases, you can select an element in the Object View (instead of selecting it directly in the Icon designer) to display its properties, or delete it by pressing the Delete key on your keyboard.

If objects in the Icon View are grouped, they are displayed as a group in the Object View, and their properties can be adjusted as a group:

Similarly, the object group can be deleted with the Delete key on your keyboard.
