Working with the Modelica icon sketcher

In this section we describe how to use the Modelica icon sketcher. Before you start to create an icon, you can set certain options to help you in your icon design.

Click the icon to set the width and height of the icon, and the grid size.

Grid

Click the Grid Grid button

button  to toggle the grid on and off.

Snap to grid

Click the Modelica editor Snap to grid

Snap to grid
Snap to grid button  to force objects you place in the Modelica icon sketcher (rectangles, ellipses, lines and text) to snap to the grid. The  Snap to grid function works whether the grid is displayed or not. This function is available for newly-created objects only, if you transform or move an object it is no longer snapped to the grid.
