Undo Redo
When building a Dashboard, you can undo or redo some actions using the undo and redo buttons from the toolbar.
You can also do it from the edit menu.
Note
You can use the classical shortcuts to perform undo or redo (Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y). Note that those shortcuts can be different based on your operating system.
You can undo or redo several actions in a single operation using the drop down menu accessible under the buttons.
Actions that can be undone or redone
All the actions that allow to build a dashboard:
Add / remove a primitive
Move a primive
Create a connector between primitives
Create / remove group
Bring to front / send to back a primitive
Cut / Copy / Paste a primitive
Create an association with a variable or a parameter
Create an association with an input (like a joystick button for example)
Change a property of a primitive (without association)
Actions that cannot be undone or redone in the dashboard
All the actions that interact with Simcenter Amesim. As a summary, all the actions used to change parameters in Simcenter Amesim or that allow to drive the simulation:
Change a property of a primitive with a parameter association
Change a property of a primitive with an input association (like a joystick button for example)
Note
The modification of a parameter can be undone / redone from the undo / redo buttons of Simcenter Amesim.
