The Modelica compiler

The Modelon compiler has been updated for the Simcenter Amesim 2304 release. It has been updated from version OCT 1.36.1 to OCT 1.40. Thanks to this update, important improvements have been made:

• The semantic checker now takes into account physical interfaces dropped onto the sketch to calculate the mathematical balance of the system.

• Faster compilation for small models.

In this section, additional information is given about how the compiler transforms a Modelica model into a Simcenter Amesim submodel equivalent. The first section describes the various stages of compilation in more detail. It is followed by a description of the initialization problem that must be constructed. The last section describes the available compiler options.
