Experiment view displaying
The Experiment view is a tool with which you can save, load and display experiments. Experiments are "snapshots" of your system, which you can then use to compare with different configurations.
You can display and hide the Experiment view through the Edit > Show / Hide menu.
Figure 159: The Experiment view
In Simcenter Amesim, an experiment refers to sets of parameters and associated results. The Experiment view lets users save sets of parameters and associated results, giving quick access to different results for a model.
Typically, you might vary the weight of a mass and run simulations to analyze the different effects of the various weights. The Experiment manager allows you to save these different parameters and simulation results and then to apply them to the system to observe the differences.
Experiments and design exploration
You can use the Study Manager to create experiments from DOE, Optimization or Monte Carlo studies. For more information, refer to the Save as experiment section of the Design Exploration manual.
