Files associated with a customized submodel

Each generic submodel you use in Simcenter Amesim (called NAME00 for instance) has three associated files:

• The source file NAME00.f or NAME00.c.

• The specification file NAME00.spe.

• The compiled version of the source NAME00.o (or NAME00.obj ).

If you edit this submodel with Component Customization, you can customize it according to your needs and save it as a different name: CUSNAME50 for example. For this new submodel Component Customization will produce two new files which are:

• The customized specification file CUSNAME50.spe.

• The customized description file CUSNAME50.des.

Warning

If your customized submodel is encrypted, it is protected by a password.
