The Analysis Tools in Detail

Computation of power and energy variables is optional. These computations can be activated by selecting the corresponding check boxes in the Run Parameters dialog box:

When an option is changed, it might modify the number of state variables in the system, especially for the Energy calculations and the Activity index calculations options (knowing that the power variables cannot be state variables). This may produce a recompilation of the model in Parameter mode.

Once the simulation is finished, the energy management variables which have been computed are shown in the variable list and can be used for any usual Simcenter Amesim functionality (plotting, post-processing, optimization).
