Mappings
The Connected Joysticks widget provides information on any detected Joysticks. It also gives information about the identifier associated with each Joystick detected (J0, J1, …), and its number of buttons, axes, balls and hats.
The Joystick mappings widget allows you to switch the Joystick identifiers. This allows you to use an already-configured Dashboard without editing each association. The syntax is: “J0->J1”
Deadzone
The deadzone is the axis zone around 0 that will be considered as 0. This helps to get a true 0 value when the user takes his hands off the Joystick. It is possible to set a specific deadzone by Joystick and by axis.
