Introduction
Practical use of your imported data
The submodels you may choose for exploiting the table containing your imported data are listed below:
Table-reading submodels such as SIGUDA01 from the Signal and Control Library (see the figure below). You can use it to "replay" test measurements in Simcenter Amesim for comparison purposes. See the Import data from a spreadsheet section where this example is described.
Interpolating or data fitting submodels such as FXA001, NDFXA0, SUGHULL0 or DYNQUAD00 from the Signal and Control Library. See the Import data as XYs table and interpolate it section where an example with SIGHULL0 (interpolation of scattered data) is described.
Other submodels using 1D, XY, 2D or M1D tables as parameters. Use your data to "feed" these submodels.
This figure illustrates how a generated table needs to be selected through the parameter window of such a submodel. Most of these submodels allow you to browse your folders to select your desired table more easily. Once this selection is done, your data can be exploited.
