Managing apps

A dedicated window allows you to manage the apps that are attached to a component. To access this window select Manage... from the app menu in the toolbar of the Contextual parameter view window.

The following window opens:

From this window, select the app and perform actions such as changing its rank in the list, deleting it, setting its properties and editing it. When you click Edit... button, the App Designer opens.

Changing the rank of an app allows you to set the default app that is launched when you double-click a component.

Double-click the app name to rename it.

Note

A component app that is stored in a library has its name in bold. Some actions are not allowed on this kind of app so action buttons are greyed-out. For instance editing is not allowed and the app file needs to be imported first.
