The File Browser

You can use the File Browser to locate files to open in the Modelica Editor. To open a file, either double-click the file name in the File Browser, or drag and drop a file from the File Browser to the Text Editor pane:

You can enter a path in the File Browser’s input field and press Enter to go directly to a specific location. Previous paths entered remain available from the drop-down list during the session:

To move back up the directory structure from a specific folder towards the root, click the button.

Note

You can also open files by dragging and dropping them into the Text Editor from external applications, such as Windows Explorer.
