Optimization

Optimization is a process of finding the best set of parameters to reach a goal while not violating certain constraints. In Simcenter Amesim the goal is always to make a quantity as close to zero as possible.

Two algorithms are available for optimization in Simcenter Amesim:

  • NLPQL

  • Genetic algorithm
