User data folder

User data folder When you create a new model (or open a model from a previous version), Simcenter Amesim automatically creates a UserData folder alongside the .ame file in the current storage location.

This is the ideal place to store data files referred to in the model, documentation related to the model, or any file under the ownership of the model author or owner.

Any files you place in this folder (using a file browser such as Windows Explorer) are then saved with the .ame file when you save the model.
