Plotting a graph

Procedure

1. Select a component in your model and go to the contextual Variables view window.

   Note You can also double-click on your component to open the Variable List dialog box.

2. Select a variable from the list.

3. Drag and drop it on the sketch or, if you are in the Variable List dialog box, you can click on the Plot button.

   A graph is plotted:

4. Select another variable in the list.

5. Drag and drop it in the window containing the first plot.

   The graph is updated:

6. As well as plotting two or more variables together in a plot, you can plot variables on different pages of an Plot "book".In the plot window, select File > New page.

   A new page appears in the Plot book.

7. Drag and drop another variable to this new page.

   In this way, one Plot window can contain many different plots. You can add multiple pages, reorder them by drag and drop, rename pages, drag and drop variables between pages...
