Saving a category path list

You can save the category path list to a file, and subsequently load it from a file. This is done with the Save as button in the Current path list window.

When you click Save as, a file browser opens, where you can define a name and save location for the Category Path List file.

Loading a category path List

To load a new category path list, click Load in the Current path list window. A browser opens, allowing you to browse to locate your saved category path list.

Select the file and click Open. The category path list is refreshed to display the categories defined in the file.

Loading a category path list on application launch

A file containing a preferred category path list can be loaded when the application is started. This is done by adding an argument after the application executable name as follows: --pathlist=file:file_name_to_load

For example: AMESet --pathlist=file:my_category_pathlist_file.AMEPath

Note

• No spaces are allowed between the keyword (--pathlist) and the equals sign (=).

• No spaces are allowed between the equals sign (=) and the name of the file to load.
