Coupling Modelica models with native Simcenter Amesim models
Parametric Variation
After seeing the behavior of the solenoid injector, the model developer may wish to study the impact of certain parameters on the system response. For example, what impact do the current set points in the statechart controller have on the power electronics circuit? To answer this question, we will compare results of the transducer current before and after this parameter change. Start by right-clicking on the transducer current's legend and select Hold curve (figure Figure 62).

Next, launch the statechart environment and modify the values of the Ipeakmin and Iholdmin as shown in figure Figure 62

After running another simulation, the transducer current is observed to oscillate at a higher frequency (figure Figure 63). This is of course due to the tighter band defined for the set points in the controller. You can then further analyze the components within the power electronics subsystem to more clearly understand the system interactions.
