Y animated curve

Curve type Y Animated

This format allows you to create a distribution or discrete plot of data on the Y-axis against its indexes within Simcenter Amesim.

It contains one X item that refers to the indexes and several Y items.

Y animated curve

The option Y animated curve from the Tools menu allows you to convert 2D temporal curves into Y animated curves. By default the display is a bar chart using Y values of the 2D curves as Y items for the size of the bar and the titles of the 2D curves as the X item for the indexation.

Since it converts 2D temporal curves, the Time item is kept so that the animation toolbar is available. Therefore it allows you to display the curve at different instants of the simulation time.

Note

If the 2D curves are items of a multidimensional variable, the X item of the Y animated curve is the index number of the array.
