Multiple co-simulations

General remarks

  • If Simcenter Amesim is the target environment (mode 1.1), the co-simulation blocks are completely independent (viewed as standard submodels by Simcenter Amesim). So, the possibilities of mixing different block settings on the same Simcenter Amesim sketch are theoretically not limited.

  • It is possible to use several third-party models in a single Simcenter Amesim system (and vice-versa), but it is not possible to use the same third-party model several times in a single Simcenter Amesim system (and vice-versa).

  • There are as many co-simulation blocks used in the target environment as independent systems.

1. The availability of some co-simulation modes depends on the capabilities of the third-party software (master/slave relationship and possibility to co-simulate more than two tools).
