Simulation Run monitor

When you initiate a run, the Run monitor pane appears. The name of the system is displayed in the title. You can display or hide this pane with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+U, or through the Edit > Show / Hide menu:

The Run monitor provides the following options:

	Opens the Run parameters dialog box.
	Start a simulation button.
	Stop a simulation.
	Show or hide batch runs details button.
	Save results as experiment button.
	Opens the online help for the Run monitor.
	The simulation progress bar (see following section).
	This icon indicates that information messages have been generated by the simulation.
	This icon indicates that warning or error messages have been generated by the simulation.
	This icon indicates that the simulation has failed.

These options are described in the following sections.

Note

The Run monitor can be set to close automatically after a successful simulation. See Automatic window close on successful simulation. It can be moved around your workspace in the same way as other panes (Watch pane,Parameters pane). This behavior is controlled by the Enable window docking option in the Simcenter Amesim preferences.
