Manage configuration

To configure the mapping between the parameters in the Excel sheets and the parameters in the componentS of your model in Simcenter Amesim, click the Manage Configuration button. The following window opens:

Note

The window contains as many tabs as there are sheets in the Excel file. It is then possible to create a complete configuration by adding the parameters of all your Excel sheets in the corresponding tabs.

Adding a parameter

	This action allows you to add a real or an integer parameter of the Excel file in the configuration file.

Adding a look-up table

	This action allows you to add a look-up table defined in the Excel file in the configuration file. A file that contains the elements of the 1D or XYs table is created.

Reset and clear configuration

Three actions allow users to delete parameters from the list, clear the complete list, or update the list to the last saved configuration.

	This action deletes the selected parameters in the list.
	This action clears the complete configuration and all parameters are deleted.
	This action updates or resets the configuration to the last action on the OK or Apply buttons.

Update parameter values

The same actions as in the Parameter group of the Simcenter Amesim ribbon toolbar are available in this window.

Note

If you open several Mangage configuration windows at the same time, make sure you apply the parameters before switching to another Mangage configuration window or your modifications will be lost.
