Simcenter Flomaster Interface
Simcenter Flomaster Interface If the system requires a far more detailed fluid simulation, you can additionally connect Automation Connect to Simcenter Flomaster. As Simcenter Flomaster models are saved and ordered in a tree structure on an SQL database, some additional steps are necessary to connect to a Simcenter Flomaster simulation:
Procedure
In Simcenter Flomaster, add Automation Connect Gauges/Controllers to your model.
In Automation Connect, enter the server login information in the Simcenter Flomaster interface settings.
Right-click the tab header and select Simcenter Flomaster: Open Settings: Figure 45: Simcenter Flomaster settings
- In the Automation Connect Simcenter Flomaster interface tab, click DB login and select the relevant model using the two additional drop-down selection menus:

- Select the model you require and press the Connect button.
You will be presented with a variable selection dialog box listing all the Simcenter Flomaster gauges and controls detected.
- Select the relevant variables by dragging them into the dialog's lower list and confirm your selection with the OK button.

Results
The variables will be listed in the Simcenter Flomaster interface tab. Similarly to Simcenter Amesim, the Simcenter Flomaster simulation does not start until you press the Start button, or use a Toggle Start/Toggle Stop command on one of the dedicated input variables.
Note
Simcenter Flomaster-specific information:
The Automation Connect-Simcenter Flomaster interface only supports a 32-bit architecture. The interface therefore is not visible in the x64 Automation Connect version.
