Global parameters

The global parameters facility is useful when a given parameter is used many times in a model and must have the same value each time. If you want to observe the effect of this particular parameter on the system, you must change it in all the components in which it is used before starting each simulation. Alternatively you can declare a global parameter and assign it in all the components where it is needed. When you use this function, you only have to change the global parameter (just one value) before each simulation.

This facility can only be used in Submodel, Parameter or Simulation mode.
