Graph Type

Depending on the kind of curve(s) contained in the graph, you can select the types of graph from among those that are compatible. When you right-click a graph and select Type a contextual menu allows you to apply a pre-set display.

XY curve

Pre-set selection Description
2D Line (bold line) Sets the display as a 2D line. The points are connected through lines without symbol.
2D Line (symbols) Sets the display as a 2D line with only rounded symbols. The points are not connected.
2D Line (line and symbols, symbols, bold line) Sets the display as a 2D line with rounded symbols. The points are connected through lines.
2D Line (x log) Sets logarithm scales for the X-axis.
2D Line (y log) Sets logarithm scales for the Y-axis.
2D Line (xy log) Sets logarithm scales for both X- and Y-axis.
2D Density Sets the display as distribution of simulation points. The density is represented through a size ratio.
2D Density (colorscale) Sets the display as distribution of simulation points. The density is represented through a colorscale.

M1D and XYZ curves

Pre-set selection Description
2D Colormap Sets the display as a colormap plot with current colorscale on the XY plane. The colorscale is based on the Z values.
2D Colormap (with isolines) Sets the display as a colormap plot with current colorscale on the XY plane. The isolines in black are added. The colorscale is based on the Z values.
2D Colormap (with label, with isolines) Sets the display as a colormap plot with current colorscale on the XY plane. The isolines in black and their corresponding values as labels are added. The colorscale is based on the Z values.
2D Colormap (with label, with isolines, without colormap) Sets the display as a colormap with only the isolines on the XY plane. The values of the isolines are added as labels. The isolines use the current colorscale.
2D Multi-lines (only with M1D curve) Sets the display as multiple lines on the XZ plane. The colorscale is based on the Y values.
2D Bubble (size) Sets the display as bubbles on the XY plane. The Z values are represented through a size ratio.
2D Bubble (color) Sets the display as bubbles on the XY plane. The Z values are represented through a colorscale.
3D Waterfall (only with M1D curve) Sets the display as multiple lines in a 3D view. The colorscale is based on the Z values.
3D Line 3D (only with XYZ curve) Sets the display as one 3D line that connects the points defined by the triplet {X, Y, Z}. The colorscale is based on the Z values.
3D Line 3D (symbols) (only with XYZ curve) Sets the display as one 3D line with only rounded symbols. The points are not connected.
3D Surface Sets the display as a surface in a 3D view. The colorscale is based on the Z values.
3D Surface (with label, with isolines) Sets the display as a surface in a 3D view. The isolines in black and their corresponding values as labels are added. The colorscale is based on the Z values.
3D Mesh Sets the display as a mesh in a 3D view. The colorscale is based on the Z values.
3D Mesh (symbols) Sets the display as a mesh in a 3D view with only rounded symbols. The edges of the mesh are not displayed, only the nodes.

Y animated

Pre-set selection Description
2D Discrete Bar Sets the display as a vertical bar chart. The bars are located according to the index on the X-axis. If bars refer to the same index, they are set side by side.
2D Discrete Bar (with label) Sets the display as a vertical bar chart. The bars are located according to the index on the X-axis. The Y values are added as labels inside the bars. If bars refer to the same index, they are set side by side.
2D stacked bar Bar Sets the display as a vertical bar chart. The bars are located according to the index on the X-axis. If bars refer to the same index, they are stacked vertically.
2D stacked bar Bar (with label) Sets the display as a vertical bar chart. The bars are located to the according index on the X-axis. The Y values are added as labels inside the bars. If bars refer to the same index, they are stacked vertically.
2D stacked bar Bar (normalized) Sets the display as a vertical bar chart. The bars are located according to the index on the X-axis. If bars refer to the same index, they are stacked vertically. The Y values are normalized so that the total height of each bar is set to 100%
2D stacked bar Bar (normalized, with label) Sets the display as a vertical bar chart. The bars are located according to the index on the X-axis. The Y values are added as labels inside the bars. If bars refer to the same index, they are stacked vertically. The Y values are normalized so that the total height of each bar is set to 100%
2D discrete Bar (horizontal) Sets the display as a horizontal bar chart. The bars are located according to the index on the Y-axis. If bars refer to the same index, they are set side by side.

2D parallel coordinates Line Sets the display as a 2D line that connects the points defined by the Y values. A vertical axis for each index is added.
2D parallel coordinates Line (horizontal) Sets the display as a 2D line that connects the points defined by the X values. A horizontal axis for each index is added.
2D spider chart Line Sets the display as a 2D line that connects the points defined the Y values. A radial axis for each index is added.
2D spider chart Area Sets the display as a 2D line that connects the points defined by the Y values. A radial axis for each index is added. The area that is delimited by the line is filled by a color.
Circular Pie chart Sets the display as a Pie chart on a 2D view. Each slice represents a Y value. An exploded ratio is set.
Circular Pie chart (3D) Sets the display as a Pie chart on a 3D view. Each slice represents a Y value. An exploded ratio is set.
