Converting a simple model
The following example demonstrates the conversion of a simple system containing Hydraulic models to Thermal Hydraulic submodels.
Figure 9: A simple model to convert
This simple model contains 9 submodels from the Hydraulic library. These submodels can be converted directly to Thermal Hydraulic submodels. You can click Convert, and the model will be automatically converted. When we click the Parameter Preview button, we can view the parameter migration plan for each submodel:
Figure 10: Parameter preview
When you click a component or line in the tool, the corresponding component is highlighted in the model.
For example, the CV010 submodel will be converted to a TFCHV010 submodel. We will display all labels on the sketch, and then run the conversion to view the update.

As expected, nine Hydraulic submodels have been converted to Thermal Hydraulic submodels.
Now that we have converted the system into a thermal hydraulic one, we can add thermal exchange submodels to activate the full energy balance model and to activate the gas transport.
